Levels Of Certification In Scuba Diving

There are many levels of certification in scuba diving. The first level is Open Water Diving. This is certification is for beginners just starting out in the world of scuba. The chart below shows the PADI levels of certification in scuba. ***The key text is faded. The yellow boxes are a diving instructor's path while the blue boxes are a master scuba diver's path.***

I am currently certified as a PADI open water scuba diver, but I plan to get certified in more levels like Advanced Open Water Diver. PADI is a get organization to help you get started with becoming a scuba diver. It offers a wide array of options in scuba diving. For more information about this organization click PADI

My sibling and I have been thinking about getting scuba diving certified and we weren't sure which level we would need. I had no idea that there were so many categories for open water diving. I think that we would want to do the boat diver and maybe the dry suit diver. Do you know which one would be easiest for beginners?
