I understand that these products may be very expensive, but remember some of these things that you're investing in are lifesaving equiptment. I recommend that you invest more money in the  products like BC's, regulators, tanks, gauges and dive computers because these things are extremely important when it comes to scuba diving and your life. And remember to ALWAYS get your gear checked at least once a year or right before you go diving to a local dive shop.

Vika, I love your topic and am so impressed that you have gone so far as to earn an initial certification in scuba diving! Where have you gone to scuba dive? Have you been to any exotic places or primarily in the New England area? Does anyone else in your family participate in this sport? I was shocked to see how expensive all the gear was that you have to have but, I agree with you that its money well spent especially when it comes to your safety. The underwater pictures on your blog are incredibly beautiful! Certainly one of the perks to scuba diving! You’re off to a great start with your blog; I’m looking forward to returning soon to read (and learn) more! Mrs. A.
